Year-by-year cash flow shape
The four-year stand life produces a familiar curve. Year 1 ends red because of establishment cost (figure $300-$450 per acre across seed, lime, herbicide, and only 60-70% of full yield). Year 2 turns slightly positive. Year 3 is peak. Year 4 either matches Year 3 or starts to slip 10-15% depending on stand thickness and weed pressure.
