Financial Forecast Services

Avvale Consulting builds startup financial forecasts and financial models: your business plan expressed in numbers, built from your own central assumptions rather than a template. You receive a model that opens and works in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets and transfers straight into a business plan or a pitch deck. A standalone forecast is quoted on request, with scope, timeline and a fixed fee agreed on a free kick-off video call before any work starts. If you want the forecast inside a written plan instead, the Bespoke Business Plan on our packages page includes a five-year financial forecast for £800 / US$1,000 and is delivered in 10 to 14 days. Muhammad Tayyab Shabbir writes and reviews the work.

What is a startup financial forecast?

Think of your financial forecast as your business plan in numbers. It condenses your business objectives into a manageable set of central assumptions and the causal connections between them, so you can see which few factors genuinely move the outcome and which are noise. Creating one is the part of writing a business plan founders most often stall on, even founders who have studied finance and accounting. Whether you are opening a traditional storefront or a high-growth digital startup, the model is built to your business rather than adapted from a generic template.

What do you get?

  • A financial model built from your own central assumptions and the causal links between them, not a filled-in template.
  • Statements that are usable in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets, so you can open, edit and re-run them yourself.
  • Output formatted to transfer straight into a business plan or a pitch deck without being rebuilt.
  • A kick-off video call, and a series of review calls where our consultants go through the numbers with you before anything is signed off.

How much does a financial forecast cost?

A standalone financial forecast is quoted on request. Scope varies a great deal between a single-site storefront and a multi-product digital business, so we agree a fixed fee on the free kick-off call rather than publish a band we would then have to caveat away.

Where the forecast forms part of a written plan, the price is already public. The Bespoke Business Plan is £800 / US$1,000 and includes a five-year financial forecast, delivered in 10 to 14 days. The Standard tier on business plan services is £1,500 (approximately $1,800, fixed price excluding VAT) and includes a five-year financial model in Excel, delivered in 7 working days.

How long does it take, and how does the process work?

  1. Kick-off video call. A Zoom call to discuss your startup, including some mock investor style questions from our consultants. Scope, turnaround and the fixed fee are agreed here.
  2. Projection and model creation. Built by our team of analysts, researchers and financial modellers from the assumptions agreed on the call.
  3. Collaboration to review. We go through your financials with you and refine the materials in a series of video calls before sign-off.

The delivery date is confirmed with your quote at the kick-off call. As a published reference point, the Bespoke Business Plan, which includes a five-year forecast, is delivered in 10 to 14 days.

Who builds your financial model?

The model is built by Avvale's team of analysts, researchers and financial modellers. It is written and reviewed by Muhammad Tayyab Shabbir, founder of Avvale Ltd (company number 14805382, incorporated 15 April 2023 and registered in England and Wales), who holds an MSci in Theoretical and Mathematical Physics from UCL and has advised founders since 2021.

Is a forecast the same as a business plan?

No. The forecast is the numbers. The business plan is the written document a lender, investor or visa officer reads, and a forecast sits inside it alongside the market, team and use-of-funds sections. If your reader has asked for a business plan and forecasts, buy the plan: our business plan writing service is priced and described in full on its own page. Commission the forecast on its own when the question is internal: how much cash you need, when you run out, what a price change does to the year, whether an investment pays back.

How long does a financial forecast take?

The delivery date is agreed with your fixed quote at the kick-off call, because the work depends on how much of your own data already exists. Where the forecast is delivered as part of the Bespoke Business Plan the published turnaround is 10 to 14 days, and the Standard business plan tier, which includes a five-year Excel model, is delivered in 7 working days.

What file format do I receive?

Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets. The statements are built to work in both, and to transfer straight into a business plan or a pitch deck without being rebuilt.

Can I edit the model myself after delivery?

Yes. The model is yours. It is built to be opened, edited and re-run by you, so you can change an assumption and see what it does to cash, profit and the funding requirement without coming back to us.

Who builds and reviews the model?

Avvale's team of analysts, researchers and financial modellers builds the model. Muhammad Tayyab Shabbir, founder of Avvale Ltd (company number 14805382, registered in England and Wales), writes and reviews the work.
