What we build

Websites that earn their cost back
in the first quarter

We do not build "any kind of website." We build six things, and we are unreasonably good at them. If your project does not fit one of these, we will tell you on the call and recommend someone who is a better fit. Honest scoping up front saves both of us a frustrating six weeks. Every category below is something we have shipped for paying clients in the last twelve months, not a service we list because it sounded good on the homepage.

Shopify ecommerce stores

Full stores with custom themes, payment integrations (Stripe, Klarna, PayPal), shipping logic and subscription apps. Launched in 3-4 weeks. Built to scale past your first £100K in revenue without a rebuild.

SaaS landing pages

High-conversion landing systems for SaaS founders: hero, social proof, feature walkthroughs, pricing, FAQ, A/B-tested CTAs. Built in Webflow, Next.js or Astro. Connected to HubSpot, Mailchimp, Stripe, Cal.com or whatever your funnel needs.

Founder & advisor portfolios

One-page or multi-page personal sites for founders raising capital, advisors building an audience, or executives positioning for a board seat. Fast, opinionated, designed to be the link in your bio for the next five years.

Marketplaces & directories

Two-sided marketplaces, niche directories, listing platforms. Custom builds in Next.js or Bubble for fast MVPs. Auth, payments, reviews, search and admin moderation panels included. Designed so non-technical founders can run them.

WordPress content sites

For content-heavy businesses: media properties, agencies with deep service taxonomies, education platforms. Custom themes, ACF-driven editorial workflows, headless setups when speed matters. SEO foundations baked in.

Custom React / Next.js builds

When the off-the-shelf platforms run out of road. Custom web apps, complex dashboards, headless commerce frontends, AI-product UIs. TypeScript, Tailwind, Vercel or AWS. Built by engineers, not template editors.

A note from the founder

Why we treat a small business website
as a real engineering project.

Most small business websites are built like throwaway brochures. A theme bought for $59, plugged into a free hosting plan, populated with stock photography of smiling people in headsets. Six months in the founder cannot find the analytics, cannot edit the copy without breaking the layout, and cannot understand why the site loads in eight seconds on a phone.

That is not a website problem. That is a thinking problem. A small business website is the first hire most founders make. It works 24 hours a day, it talks to every prospect before you do, it shapes the price you can charge. The cost of building it badly compounds for years.

We approach every project, even a £1,500 Starter, as a real engineering brief. Sitemap before design. Design before code. Performance budget agreed in week one. Analytics and SEO foundations baked in, not bolted on. The Lighthouse score is not a vanity metric — it is a measurable proxy for whether your site will rank, convert and survive a real product launch. We do this work the way we wish someone had done it for us, when we were starting out.

Process

Four phases.
One launch date.

No sprints that never end. No design rounds that go nowhere. We work in fixed phases with a committed launch date, and we hit it. If we slip, you pay less.

Week 1 — Discovery

Brief, scope and stack

Two calls. We pin down what the site has to do, who it is for, what success looks like in six months. You leave with a written brief, a sitemap, a stack recommendation and a fixed quote.

Week 1-2 — Design

Wireframes then visuals

Low-fi wireframes first so you can challenge structure before we paint. Then high-fi visual design in Figma — typography, colour, imagery, components. Two revision rounds included.

Week 2-5 — Build

Engineering, content, integrations

Frontend, CMS setup, payment and analytics integrations, content migration. You see a working staging URL inside week 2 and we iterate live. No big reveals.

Launch week

QA, launch and handover

Cross-device testing, performance audit, accessibility check, redirects and SEO setup. We launch with you on a call, watch traffic for the first 48 hours, then hand over docs and admin access.

Tech stack

Boring technology
that ships.

We pick the right tool for the job, not whatever framework launched on Hacker News last week. Most clients do not need a custom React app. The few who do, we build it properly.

ShopifyEcommerce stores, subscriptions, custom themes via Liquid + Hydrogen.
WordPressContent sites, custom themes, ACF, headless where it earns its keep.
WebflowMarketing sites and SaaS landings where design fidelity and CMS matter.
Next.js / ReactCustom apps, marketplaces, dashboards. TypeScript. Vercel deploys.
AstroStatic-fast marketing sites and blogs. Brilliant Lighthouse scores out of the box.
Bubble / SoftrNo-code MVPs when speed-to-market beats engineering elegance.
Tailwind CSSDesign system standard across every custom build we ship.
Stripe / KlarnaPayments, subscriptions, BNPL, multi-currency, tax via Stripe Tax or Avalara.
Pricing

Fixed quote. No surprises.

Every project starts with a fixed price agreed in week 1. You own everything on launch. No hourly billing, no surprise invoices.

Why founders pick Avvale

Built by people who have
actually launched companies.

Most website agencies have never had to ship a product, run a campaign or answer to a board. We have. Avvale started as a startup consultancy. The website work grew out of clients asking us to build the thing we kept telling them to build. That perspective changes the work.

01

300+ businesses launched

We have helped over 300 startups and small businesses get off the ground across 30 countries. We have seen which sites convert, which die slowly, and what makes the difference. That experience goes into every brief.

02

Design and engineering in-house

No subcontracting to white-label agencies. The designer who wireframes your site sits next to the engineer who builds it. That is why our handovers do not lose 20% of the design in translation.

03

Pragmatic stack choices

We will recommend Shopify when Shopify is right. We will push back on custom builds when you do not need one. Our job is to ship the right thing on budget, not to maximise our invoice.

04

Founder reviews every bespoke build

Tayyab personally reviews every Bespoke-tier project before launch. Copy, structure, conversion logic, technical fundamentals. If something would embarrass us in front of an investor, it does not ship.

05

Post-launch support that is real

Every project includes 30-90 days of free post-launch support. Bug fixes, tweaks, training calls, the small things that usually get binned the moment an agency invoices. We treat launch as the start, not the finish.

06

You own everything

Code, design files, admin credentials, third-party accounts. Full transfer on launch. We are not a SaaS you have to keep paying. If we are bad to work with, you walk and lose nothing.

Case studies

A few things we have shipped.

We have worked with founders building hardware, healthtech, consumer products, fintech and B2B SaaS. Three quick snapshots of what that looks like in practice.

Technology & SaaS

Vacua — clean-energy hardware site & investor narrative

Vacua needed a website that told its clean-tech story to both customers and investors without forcing them to read a deck. We built a fast marketing site with product, science and investor sections, paired with a long-form business plan we wrote in parallel. The site became the canonical link in pitch emails and press outreach.

Healthcare & Wellness

Soothiex — DTC wellness brand from zero to launch

Soothiex came to us pre-launch with a product, a name and not much else. We built the brand site and Shopify store, wired up Klaviyo and Stripe, and shipped a launch-ready ecommerce funnel in under five weeks. The same engagement included the business plan that supported their funding conversations.

LoupeDeck — creator hardware platform positioning

LoupeDeck is a hardware-and-software platform for creators that needed sharper positioning and a tighter web narrative to support enterprise conversations. We partnered on the strategic framing and the assets used to communicate it. A reminder that a "website" is rarely just the website — it is the spine of every conversation that follows.

FAQ

Common questions

Starter sites begin at £1,500 (brochure or basic Shopify/WordPress). Pro builds with custom design and integrations land between £4,500 and £8,000. Bespoke SaaS or marketplace builds typically run £9,500 upward depending on scope. Every quote is fixed before we start. No hourly billing, no scope creep surprises.
Starter sites launch in 2-3 weeks. Pro builds take 4-6 weeks. Bespoke SaaS or marketplace projects run 8-14 weeks. We commit to a launch date in the proposal and we hit it. If you have a hard deadline (a press launch, a funding announcement), tell us on the first call and we work backward from it.
Yes. Full ownership transfers on final payment. You get the codebase, Figma files, all assets, admin credentials and any third-party account ownership transferred to you. We are not a SaaS platform you have to keep paying. If you ever want to walk, you walk with everything.
Whatever is pragmatic. Shopify and Webflow include hosting. For WordPress we recommend Cloudways or Kinsta. For custom React/Next.js builds we usually deploy to Vercel or Netlify. We can set everything up in your accounts so the bills come to you, or we can host through our agency account if you prefer one invoice.
Every project includes 30 days of free post-launch support to fix anything that breaks or needs tweaking. Beyond that you can keep us on retainer (£250-£800 per month depending on stack) or call us ad hoc when you need changes. Most clients run their own content updates after launch. We are here when you need engineering work.
Yes to both. Every site is built mobile-first and tested on real devices, not just browser emulators. We target a Lighthouse performance score of 90+ on mobile at launch. Images are compressed and lazy-loaded, fonts are preloaded, and we strip unused JavaScript. A slow site costs you conversions and rankings. We treat performance as a launch requirement, not a nice-to-have.
Depends on what you are selling. Shopify if you are running ecommerce and need inventory, payments and fulfilment to just work. WordPress if you need a content-heavy site with custom workflows. Webflow if design fidelity matters more than complex backend logic. Custom React or Next.js if you are building a product, marketplace or anything with real application logic. We will recommend the right stack on the first call. We do not push you to whatever we feel like building.
Yes. We have launched Shopify stores selling physical products, digital downloads and subscription boxes across the UK, US and EU. Payments via Stripe, Klarna, PayPal, Apple Pay and Shop Pay. Shipping through ShipStation, Royal Mail, ShipBob or direct carrier integrations. Tax via Avalara or Shopify Tax. If it is a real ecommerce business problem, we have solved it before.

Your website should pay
for itself in 90 days.

Book a free 30-minute consultation. We will scope the build, recommend the stack and send you a fixed quote within one business day. No sales pitch. If we are wrong for your project, we will tell you and point you at someone who is right.
